University of Sydney’s Bet Well Tool Selected for 2025 Conference

Australia’s premier gambling law and regulation conference, Regulating the Game, has announced that the University of Sydney’s free tool, Bet Well, will be the fifth pitch for Pitch! @RTG, an event described by the conference as “a dynamic showcase of innovative solutions to industry and regulatory challenges.”
Pitch! @RTG Will Focus on Important Topics from the Gambling Sector
Set to take place between March 10 and March 13, 2025, in Sydney, Australia, the Regulating the Game 2025 conference is expected to bring together individuals, organizations and stakeholders that will help advance best practices in regulations of gambling activities.
Focusing on Pitch! @RTG in particular, the event is expected to highlight unique ideas, point to research and insights, while showcasing best regulatory, responsible gambling and compliance practices. Being selected for one of the pitches at Pitch! @RTG, Bet Well, along with other participants, will offer a 10-minute presentation for the audience. This will help visitors familiarize themselves with each initiative.
A range of innovative companies in the fintech and regulatory vertical are set to participate in Pitch! @RTG. The list includes recognizable companies such as Amazon Web Services, Sportradar, University of Sydney and Focal Research Consultants. They will discuss a number of hot topics, including gambling industry standards, compliance, ESG, cybercrime and risk management, among others.
The Pitch Will Offer Unique Insights Into Bet Well, Its Effectiveness and Feedback
According to Regulating the Game, the presentation of Bet Well will include “a demonstration of the tool and insights from initial research findings and consumer feedback.” Developed by University of Sydney experts and powered by feedback from gamblers, Bet Well offers a convenient way for punters to summarize all of their gambling activities in a single place.
The tool allows gamblers to upload their betting statements even from different platforms. Consequently, punters can instantly familiarize themselves with their data, which includes wins and losses. Moreover, the gamblers get unique insight regarding their overall performance within different gambling operators, ensuring that they are completely aware of how much they are spending, winning or losing. A press release on Bet Well explains further: “Test your betting knowledge with entertaining quizzes and use our simple tools to set and stick to your preferred monthly limits.”
Professor Sally Gainsbury, who is scheduled to present Bet Well at the upcoming event, spoke about the flexibility of the tool. She confirmed that Bet Well matches the needs of casual gamblers and even seasoned players. “You get a complete view of your betting activity, making it easier to bet exactly how you want to,” added Professor Gainsbury.
