UFC Viewing to Become More Affordable with Paramount+ Deal

Key Points
  • The promotion has confirmed that UFC 324, due on January 24, 2026, will kick off the partnership with Paramount+, making watching fights much more affordable

The UFC is looking to grow its scope and reach with the promotion now setting a date for its first event that will be streamed on Paramount+. The move will significantly alleviate the financial burden of watching UFC fights, which now requires paying stiff fees for pay-per-view.

The promotion is democratizing its product offer through the streaming platform tie-up, allowing its audience of 77.7 million subscribers to watch directly on demand, with UFC 324 the first such event to be streamed on the platform.

UFC Heading for Paramount+ with No Extra Costs for Viewers

Even more importantly, UFC fans will most likely cough up for Paramount+, giving the platform a significant subscription and cash flow boost. The UFC is betting that it can revitalize viewership and draw more audiences in, even though it would be having a much smaller askance price for broadcasting its events (at least for the end consumer).

A total of 13 marquee events will be streamed throughout 2026, with the first one in January set to feature a clash between Kayla Harrison and Amanda Nunes.

Harrison will be defending his title against the former Hall of Famer. The UFC will also have select cards streamed on CBS, which is part of a broader partnership between the companies. As to UFC 324, the event will be hosted at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, and no additional costs would be required to tune in and watch, other than the Paramount+ subscription.
