Trustly Enhances US Gaming License Process with OneComply Integration
OneComply has tailored its platform to suit the needs of the gaming industry, providing operators with tools to navigate the complex regulatory environment within the sector
Trustly, a prominent player in Open Banking Payments, has recently signed a strategic partnership with OneComply, a division of GeoComply. The collaboration aims to optimize Trustly’s gaming license procedures in the US market by introducing an automated and centralized solution, which will simplify the complex licensing process.
OneComply’s Solution Eases Regulatory Burdens for Operators
OneComply’s platform is designed to cater to the gaming industry and offers tools that help operators manage the intricate regulatory landscape in the sector. One of the features of the platform facilitates automated multi-jurisdictional license applications and centralized management for compliance tracking. The main goal for OneComply is to help gaming operators and other stakeholders from the sector be more efficient and reduce their administrative burden.
Halli Calabrese, head of enterprise risk and compliance at Trustly, commented on the importance of the collaboration:
We were drawn to OneComply as it provides an automated and centralized solution to simplify the process of filing gaming license applications. OneComply also assists us in keeping track of license renewals, which helps Trustly to manage our licensing process more efficiently.
Halli Calabrese, head of enterprise risk and compliance, Trustly
Companies that process gaming transactions in the US must have separate licenses in each US state. The complicated system is in place to ensure that the companies adhere to regulations, while at the same time protecting user’s financial data and preventing fraud and money laundering. Not obtaining the necessary licenses may lead to considerable fines and legal persecution, posing challenges for both the company and its gaming affiliates.
GeoComply and OneComply Partner to Elevate Gaming Compliance Standards
Aaron Gould, vice president of identity at GeoComply and co-founder of OneComply, commented on the partnership:
OneComply recognizes the immense potential of Open Banking in the gaming sector and the need for robust compliance of these solutions. Our deep expertise in the gaming industry paves the way for the success of new entrants into this ecosystem, and we’re proud to partner with innovators like Trustly.
Aaron Gould, VP of identity, GeoComply
Notably, GeoComply acquired OneComply, a specialist in compliance solutions for gambling operators at the beginning of May. Thanks to the collaboration GeoComply has enhanced its portfolio.
