Superbet Adds Corporate Heavyweight Jimmy Maymann as Deputy Chair
Superbet Group said that the new appointment is in line with the company’s overall long-term expansion strategy
Superbet Group has further strengthened its senior leadership team with the appointment of Jimmy Maymann as deputy chairman of its board of directors.
The new hire is a skilled individual with years of experience in senior and board-level positions. He boasts an impressive track record as an innovator and entrepreneur who specializes in the foundation and development of tech & media, digital service, telecom and NGO companies.
Maymann, Superbet noted, has been instrumental in the creation and expansion of over 10 different companies. The new appointee is also skilled in exits, having previously been involved in the sale of the online video distribution platform Goviral to AOL.
At the moment Maymann is the acting chair of the global content platform UNLive, the flight compensation service AirHelp and TV2 Denmark. He also holds non-executive roles at several companies, including Telia AB, Pitzner Group and The Maternity Foundation.
Maymann Is Looking Forward to Working with Superbet
Maymann commented on his new position, saying that he is excited to join Superbet. He praised the company, noting that it has “tremendous potential in terms of business scalability and expansion into international markets.” The new deputy chair also lauded the framework of trust Superbet Group has built between itself, its customers and stakeholders.

Johnny Hartnett, CEO of Superbet Group, also commented on the appointment. He said that the move “reconfirms Superbet’s aspiration” to transform the company into a global industry leader by adding skilled new team members.
Last but not least, Maymann was welcomed by Sacha Dragic, one of the company founders. She said that having Jimmy as deputy chairman of the board shows that Superbet is bullish on continuing its long-term strategy for global expansion.
Maymann’s deputy chair mandate commenced on April 26 and follows the appointment of Hans-Holger Albrecht as board chair.
