Scientific Games Digital Names Laura Probert Chief People Officer

Owing to her proven ability to develop people’s skills and improve HR processes, Laura Probert is expected to take the company to the next level in employee management. Scientific Games Digital believes Probert will be a valuable asset in creating successful employees that drive technological and product transformation.
In Charge of Boosting Talent Strategy
Las Vegas-based industry giant Scientific Games has announced that Laura Probert is joining the company’s digital division to serve as chief people officer. Probert comes from WPP’s outcome media platform Xaxis, where she held the position of global vice president of talent.
In her new role, Probert will be in charge of leading the global people strategy for the business unit and will report to the digital division’s CEO Jordan Levin, as well as to the global chief human resources officer Eileen Moore Johnson.
Commenting on the appointment, Probert shared her enthusiasm about joining one of the leaders in the betting and gaming sector and working in a team with skilled and progressive professionals. On the other hand, the group’s CEO praised Probert’s solid expertise in the field and highlighted her eagerness to integrate diversity, inclusion, and personnel’s achievements at the core of the business strategy.
Experience Across the Industry
Probert boasts an outstanding career in the iGaming industry and more than 20 years of experience in various management roles. Before entering WPP, she spent almost 10 years in Bwin.Party Digital Entertainment, which was the world’s largest publicly traded online gaming firm at that time.
She joined the gaming company as Head of Human Resources, then moved to the position of Global Head of Internal Communications and later became Global Head of Employee and Organisation Development. In her last position at Bwin.Party Digital Entertainment, Probert was responsible for people’s management and employer branding.
She contributed to the company’s success by developing numerous engagement and leadership strategies, as well as a global e-learning platform with exceptional return on investment.

Recent Partnership with German Löwen Play
On Thursday, Scientific Games announced that it is bringing its end-to-end digital OpenGaming ecosystem to German operator Löwen Play GmbH’s online casino. The content aggregation platform features a large selection of game content from renowned studios combined with options for free rounds, competitions, and peer-to-peer gaming.
According to Paul Kase, head of online gaming at Löwen Play GmbH, gaining access to the platform is a part of the company’s strategy to expand its position in Germany by providing a wider variety of casino games and a better gaming experience to customers.
