SaharaBets Teams Up with Birches Health to Promote Safer Gambling
Birches Health’s tools include clinician-approved online learning modules, self-assessment and awareness-boosting resources

SaharaBets, an Arizona-based sports betting operator, has unveiled a responsible gambling-focused tie-up with Birches Health, a problem gambling treatment provider. The partnership will, according to the announcement, focus on proactive engagement and education in responsible gambling.
Under the deal, SaharaBets customers struggling with their gambling will receive access to a streamlined custom referral pathway. The initiative demonstrates the operator’s commitment to protecting its customers from harm and aligns with Problem Gambling Awareness Month, a nationwide initiative to promote safer gambling.
Described as a cutting-edge healthcare company, Birches Health specializes in safer gambling tools and services. The company’s philosophy is based on three core pillars, namely education, engagement and treatment.
Birches Health’s tools include clinician-approved online learning modules, self-assessment and awareness-boosting resources. The company’s goal is to not only provide help to those who seek it but to also promote the use of safer gambling tools and raise awareness of the solutions available to people affected by gambling harm.
Birches Health also offers treatment in conjunction with the Arizona Department of Gaming’s Division of Problem Gambling, as part of the latter’s Treatment Assistance Program.
SaharaBets Is Happy to Offer Information and Resources
Birches Health’s founder, Elliott Rapaport, commented on the matter and expressed his team’s delight about the partnership with SaharaBets. He said that this alliance will help individuals who need access to education and treatment get them quickly, conveniently and securely.
Rapaport added:
Partnerships like this one ensure a supportive, safer ecosystem throughout Arizona.
Elliott Rapaport, founder, Birches Health
SaharaBets’ president, Andrew Patterson, also commented on the matter, echoing Rapaport’s excitement about the tie-up.
We are excited to offer SaharaBets’ customers information and resources that are easy to access and utilize directly from the SaharaBets app.
Andrew Patterson, president, SaharaBets
Patterson added that his team is looking forward to joining the professionals at Birches Health and helping them improve the learning opportunities for the SaharaBets team and clients.
Elsewhere, the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services launched its North Carolina Problem Gambling Program as the state legalized online sports betting. However, experts pointed out that the money set aside for problem gambling treatment in the state may not be enough and warned that The Tar Heel State may experience a spike in gambling-related crime.
