Openbox Secures Boldplay’s Full Creative Content

Openbox Holdings, a content distribution specialist in iGaming, has moved ahead with the acquisition of a game studio, strengthening its own production capacity

Openbox Holdings, the company behind OpenBox Gaming, has announced that it has acquired Boldplay, a prominent online casino studio. The studio has developed a number of excellent games, including Splatzz, Mummified Mysteries, Arriba, Swan House, and more.

Openbox Taps Boldplay to Strengthen Content Momentum

As a result, OpenBox Gaming will now leverage Boldplay’s content in its own platform and bring more value to potential partners and clients. OpenBox and Boldplay will naturally collaborate to ensure that they continue to build strong experiences for players and partners.

The acquisition was welcomed by Openbox Holdings CEO Richard Hogg who said that Boldplay has been long on the radar for the company. He explained that his team has admired the level of creativity and innovation that Boldplay has demonstrated time and again in developing cutting-edge solutions for the industry.

“Their approach to engaging players with rich content and rewarding mechanics is a perfect fit for our platform,” Hogg added, explaining that combining the companies’ strengths and tech will bring even more exciting opportunities to players.

Boldplay already has a long list of clients which are some of the industry’s top tier operators and companies, including BetMGM and Grosvenor Casino, but also Sportingbet and ApuestaTotal.

Boldplay has been driving steady forays across multiple markets and with different partners over the past weeks. The company teamed up with Favbet to provide it with its advanced gaming content.

In seeking to expand the reach of its content, Boldplay similarly signed a partnership with Pariplay, significantly boosting the exposure the studio’s games enjoy. Boldplay CEO Valli Fragoso was similarly pleased with this new opportunity.

Our visions are closely aligned and together we will create memorable gaming experiences for players. We’re looking forward to building on the foundation we’ve established and expanding our reach to new audiences worldwide,” he concluded.

The sum of the deal has not been disclosed by the companies.
