Winning jackpots often feels great, and for a good reason, too. This is precisely the sentiment that Tyler Fraley experienced when he tried his hand at the Little Lake American Legion’s Queen of Hearts jackpot drawing and ended up winning $240,000.

First Time Queen of Hearts Drawing Leads to $240K Jackpot

Participating in the 51st lottery drawing at Post 349 in Little Lake, Fraley found himself in possession of the winning ticket. The money is automatically split with the Legion, with each taking $123,096 after the draw.

Commenting on the win, American Legion Post 349 commander Dale Schoenabauer has welcomed the news and said the Legion was indeed looking for something out of this situation as well!

Schoenbauer has said that the post needs a new boiler, as the current one was “like 100 years old” or at least too old to be useful.

“Earlier this year, the wind blew our sign apart out there. We’re gonna buy a new scrolling sign. After that, maybe new floors in the big hall,” he recalled. This is the first time the Queen of Hearts drawing was done at Post 349.
