Los Angeles Galaxy vs. Los Angeles FC 2024 MLS Odds, Time, and Prediction
The Third El Trafico of the 2024 MLS is on the program on Saturday, September 14. The Los Angeles Galaxy vs. Los Angeles FC game will take place at Dignity Health Sports Park

Even though they lost the first two El Traficos of the 2024 MLS, Los Angeles Galaxy are favored to win the game on September 14. One of the reasons is that the game is played on their turf, Dignity Health Sports Park in the city of Carson in the metropolitan area of Los Angeles.
Another reason is that this time around, Galaxy’s boss Greg Vanney has a much better roster of players to count on. Still, the Galaxy vs. LAFC odds aren’t miles apart, which is why Steve Cherundolo and his men have every right to hope for a good result.

Reasons Why MLS Odds Favor Los Angeles Galaxy
Los Angeles Galaxy is seen as the favorites to win El Trafico on September 14. Sure, their odds aren’t too short, but Greg Vanney’s boys are expected to put on a good show. One of the key reasons is that the game is played on their turf, and they’ve been good at home in 2024.
They’re the best home team in the MLS Western Conference, with a 10-3-1 record in Carson. Plus, they won each of their last four home games in the MLS.

Another reason why the Galaxy is expected to do okay in El Trafico is that this team’s roster looks much better than before. This summer, they signed a couple of really good players, most notably the former German international Marco Reus.
The playmaker made his debut in Galaxy’s final game of August, scoring one goal and making an assist in the 2:0 win over Atlanta United. The reason this is important is that the game in question was Galaxy’s most recent home game.
Los Angeles FC Hoping to Improve Their Form
LAFC won just one of their last five MLS games, the result of which is that they dropped to the second spot in the Western Conference. LA Galaxy now have a four-point advantage, but the good news for Steve Cherundolo’s men is that they’ve played two games fewer than their city rivals. What this means is that they can get back to the top relatively easily.
To get there, they need to improve their form. This goes especially for their offensive players who scored no goals in the last two MLS rounds. This is shocking given how good an attacking department this team has.
Denis Bouanga is their best scorer with 16 goals so far, but it’s LAFC’s summer signing Olivier Giroud who’s their most dangerous player. With these guys in the offense, LAFC looks capable of scoring against practically every team in the MLS.
Los Angeles Galaxy vs. Los Angeles FC Prediction
Who’s going to win El Trafico on Saturday, September 14, 2024? Will it be Los Angeles Galaxy or their archrivals Los Angeles FC? Our prediction is neither. We think this game will end in a draw. But this isn’t going to be a boring draw; on the contrary, we predict this game will see at least four goals.
