LeoVegas’ GoGoCasino Secures Sports Betting License in Sweden
The renowned company and its online casino brand have secured a new sports betting license in the lucrative European market
LeoVegas is expanding its clout in the European market through a new sports betting license in Sweden with the company’s GoGoCasino brand. Thanks to this expanded presence, GoGoCasino may now offer sports betting options through its proprietary Tiger sportsbook.
GoGoCasino Expands Swedish Footprint with Sportsbook Rollout
Commenting on this expansion, LeoVegas chief product and technology officer Adrian Vella had this to add, commenting on these developments:
“Launching our proprietary sportsbook, Tiger, on our home turf in Sweden is a massive milestone for the entire Group, and I couldn’t be more excited. Our teams across the globe have worked tirelessly to continue our international rollout, and this new addition to GoGoCasino will add layers of excitement for players who enjoy the thrills of both casino and betting.”
The license was secured from Spelinspektionen, the country’s gaming regulator, and will enable GoGoCasino to further consolidate its market presence on top of its existing iGaming market offer.
Sports fans who have a soft spot for the occasional flutter will now have access to a fully modernized iGaming facility that will power their betting experience through the use of an adaptable bet builder, daily boosters for odds, partial and full cash-out options, and a state-of-the-art in-play offer.
The GoGoCasino brand has come a long way since it first launched in Sweden back in 2019, in the immediate wake of the market’s legalization.
