Leading supplier of sports betting solutions announced an agreement to become the exclusive online sportsbook provider of a sports betting partner in The Bahamas.
Recognition for Kambi’s Technology
Kambi Group entered into a multi-year partnership deal with Island Luck to help support the leading gaming operator in The Bahamas to upgrade its sportsbook by utilizing Kambi’s betting technology and services and offer its customers a best-in-class online gaming experience.
“Our sports product is a significant, strategic and important vertical for our group and after considerable research, it was evident that a strategic partnership with Kambi, a global leader in the sportsbook space, was the right decision for us.”Sebas Bastian, CEO, Island Luck
Island Luck CEO Bastian concluded by saying that the company was eager to team with Kambi and have the opportunity to provide its customers with a “superior betting experience” while the operator takes advantage of “cutting-edge risk management tools”.
Under the terms of the agreement, Kambi became the exclusive sportsbook provider of the established in 2009 gaming operator, which is currently the largest gaming company in the country, operating in the online sports betting, casino, and lottery verticals.
“We are delighted to have finalised this agreement with Island Luck, extending Kambi’s presence in the Americas and further strengthening our global network. As a local market leader in The Bahamas, Island Luck is a perfect fit for Kambi and we look forward to working closely with their team to deliver an industry-leading sports betting experience to its players.”Kristian Nylén, CEo and Co-Founder, Kambi Group
Expansion in Americas Continues
The agreement with Island Luck further expands Kambi’s footprint in the Americas region, following in the footsteps of previous entries in Argentina and Peru.
At the beginning of the year, Kambi announced a partnership deal with Casino Magic to enter Argentine and provide the local operator with its state-of-the-art technology and oversee the launch of the operator’s sportsbook in the Argentinian province of Neuquén.
In June, Kambi signed an agreement with newly developed sports betting brand in Latin America, Olimpo.bet, to provide the brand’s operator, NG Gaming, with sports betting technology and services, and further expand its presence in the region, adding Peru, the first planned launch of the brand, to Colombia and Argentina.
A recent development in the US saw Kambi and Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment (MGE) amend their agreement to remove the exclusivity clause for the Malta-based tech supplier and free space for MGE to enter into technology partnership deals with other companies.
