Kambi to Power Casino Magic’s Sportsbook in Argentina
Casino Magic is preparing to debut its dedicated sportsbook powered by Kambi in Neuquén, Argentina in the first quarter of the year.
Kambi Group to Power Casino Magic’s Upcoming Sportsbook
Kambi Group has struck a partnership with Casino Magic to provide the Argentina-based operator with its state-of-the-art technology as part of a multi-year agreement. Kambi will oversee the launch of Casino Magic’s sportsbook in Neuquén, a province of Argentina.
Similar to Canada and the United States, Argentina has chosen a piecemeal approach to regulating its sports betting industry, allowing local governments to pave the way for legal wagering in each jurisdiction. Commenting on the partnership, Kambi CEO Kristian Nylén said that he was happy to see the company finalize the partnership with Casino Magic.
The partnership will undoubtedly lead to a stronger positioning for Kambi in Argentina and the region and thanks to Casino Magic, Kambi is certain it would be able to realize the potential of regulated sports betting, added Nylén.
Through its proprietary technology, Kambi feels confident that it can help the local operator meet and exceed consumer needs while ensuring regulatory compliance, a matter of great urgency over the past years.
Readying up a Launch
Casino Magic’s betting platform should launch in the province in the first quarter of the year as part of the existing online casino portal. Commenting on the partnership, Casino Magic general manager Eduardo Nanton praised Kambi’s expertise in delivering actionable solutions in regulated markets.
“Their commitment to bringing exciting experiences to players matches our own, and we look forward to working with them as we progress our ambitious plans for the Casino Magic brand,” Nanton concluded.
Kambi has recently announced another partnership with the Racing and Wagering Western Australia (RWWA) and the company posted a new investor update, adjusting expectations for a much better outlook. The full report is expected to be released on February 10.
