The former head of marketing at mybet spent the past two years as a gaming consultant after his departure from the gaming company, but has now accepted a new role at iGaming Group. He has been tapped to be the gaming industry media company’s new head of sales.
iGaming Group Appoints Florian Güde Head of Sales
iGaming Group has appointed Florian Güde, mybet’s former CMO, as its new head of sales. His new responsibilities will involve the expansion of iGaming Group, as a new member of Affiliate Leaders, out of the German markets and into new international territories.
When commenting on his new appointment, Güde said, “I am thrilled to join iGaming Group. On the numerous occasions I worked with iGaming, I was always impressed by their passion and focus. Güde said that with his operations background, he hopes to bring a new angle to the company.
iGaming Group Wants to Expand on a Global Scale
Before joining iGaming, Güde spent almost nine years with mybet, first as Head of Marketing Online and then as Head of Marketing. According to his LinkedIn profile, he then left to work on projects in South America, Africa and Germany for the last two years. He started his career in the gaming industry in London at Gamebookers.com sixteen years ago.
iGaming Group CEO, Andreas Ditsche said that Güde’s international background will become a great asset and could play an important role in helping the company move forward to its goal of global expansion. He added that Florian is bringing fifteen years of industry experience and will carry on his tasks with his leadership skills and passion. His experience is crucial for the company’s goal to change its international footprint, bringing his strategic and analytical mindset.
iGaming Group to Hire 100 Team Members
According to Ditsche, the company is strengthening its team and is currently running a recruitment campaign. It wants to hire an additional 100 team members, and Güde will blend in right away with the professional and highly motivated team.
