FanDuel Will Launch Its Very Own Sports TV Network “FanDuel TV”
US leader in gaming and sports entertainment FanDuel has announced that this September it is launching the first of its kind linear cable sports TV network and OTT platform dedicated specifically to sports betting content and airing more live sports hours than any other provider in the US.
FanDuel’s Innovative Approach to Sports Content
The new cable TV network project by FanDuel will be called FanDuel TV. It will be broadly available throughout the United States.
Additionally, there will be an over-the-top (OTT) platform called FanDuel+, which will bring the same content to peoples’ phones. The digital FanDuel+ platform will be accessible for free to everybody that already has a FanDuel account on the company’s sportsbook, casino, horse racing or daily fantasy products.
FanDuel’s CCO Mike Raffensperger commented that FanDuel TV is the first TV network on the market, which is specifically designed to be watched on mobile phones. He added: “We intend for FanDuel TV to sit at the intersection of live sports and interactive content.”
Raffensperger also highlighted that the goal is to combine watching sports with sports betting on the FanDuel mobile application and bring a unique interactive entertainment experience to FanDuel customers.
Kay Adams Becomes FanDuel TV’s Key Headliner
FanDuel TV is bringing in former host of NFL’s Good Morning Football Kay Adams. She will host her own long morning show each day from Monday to Friday, which will be aired from FanDuel’s studio in Los Angeles and will welcome various sports personalities.
The show will be a great mix of sports information and entertainment and will also be available on YouTube and other social media platforms
More Exciting Content and Programming
FanDuel’s signature show More Ways to Win will continue to air once a week with its host and FanDuel brand ambassador Lisa Kerney. As usual the show will provide analysis and insight into sports betting on the major leagues across all sports.
Additionally, FanDuel will welcome sports analyst Pat McAfee who will be creating original content for the new FanDuel network. Further details will follow on the programming coming from McAfee.
Further information will also be disclosed on the partnership FanDuel has managed to strike with The Ringer Network. What is known so far is that The Ringer will provide content to FanDuel TV.
FanDuel will also continue to be the focal point for fans of international basketball in the US, airing more than 3,000 hours of the sport as a result from a licensing partnership with Sportradar. Besides Australia’s National Basketball League FanDuel TV and FanDuel+ will show professional basketball leagues from China, France and Germany.
