Continent 8 Appoints Industry Veteran as Director of Regulatory Affairs
Kanter will be tasked with leading Continent 8’s advisory practice and will support new gaming and betting clients

Continent 8 Technologies, an award-winning provider of managed hosting, connectivity, cloud and security solutions, has reinforced its team with a major new appointment. As announced, the company will welcome the seasoned regulatory veteran Jeremie Kanter to its team, putting him in charge of Continent 8’s compliance-related matters.
As a member of Continent 8, Kanter will serve as the company’s director of regulatory affairs. In this new position, the hire will be tasked with overseeing the firm’s new C8 Comply division.
In addition to that, Kanter will be tasked with leading Continent 8’s advisory practice and will support new gaming and betting clients who seek to navigate the complex regulatory landscape.
Continent 8 described its new director of regulatory affairs as an experienced individual, listing some of his previous positions. Prior to his current role, Kanter held a variety of senior management and consulting positions at leading gambling companies, such as William Hill, PokerStars, SBTech, Playtech and Stations Casino, among others.
According to Continent 8, the appointment comes at a very important time for the company, which continues to seek international expansion in key regulated markets. The company seeks to leverage its knowledge and robust solutions to cement itself as the go-to infrastructure provider for operators around the globe.
Kanter Is Looking Forward to Working with the Company
Continent 8 Technologies’ founder and CEO, Michael Tobin, welcomed the new hire on board, praising him as “one of the most experienced and skilled regulatory and compliance specialists in the industry.” Because of that, he would be an incredibly valued asset to the Continent 8 team, the CEO added.
