Chantal Cipriano Joins PointsBet to Lead Its Canadian Legal Operations

The operator has appointed Chantal Cipriano as its new legal eagle to assist with expansion across Canada. Cipriano stated that the betting industry in Canada is changing and will grow at a very fast pace and that she is more than ready to lead the company in that evolution.

Cipriano is the new Vice President, Legal, Compliance & People for PointsBet Canada, the latest high-profile executive to join the company’s ranks. She asserts that PointsBet is a brand that puts a heavy focus on Canadian players and is always looking to take full advantage of the latest opportunities on the market, which is why they are at the top. Cipriano is not the only new executive hire by PointsBet. Recently, this operator also hired Nic Sulsky, as well as Teresa Fiore.

Additionally, Cipriano is a well-respected author and she is also a contributor to the Gambling and Licensing Practice Guide for Canada, LexisNexis’ Gaming Law and Practice Book, and Chambers and Partners’ Gaming.
