Bet365 Joins San Antonio Spurs to Deliver F2P Game
NBA franchise San Antonio Spurs has revealed a new partnership with global betting operator bet365. Through that partnership, the pair will launch “Call Your Shot,” a new F2P game available to fans in which they can enjoy exclusive prizes and experiences, the team confirmed in a press release.
Building up Fan Engagement and Brand Recognition
Bet365 will integrate its advertising signage and assets through TV screens available at the AT&T Center, which is the Spurs home arena. To boost the partnership further, bet365’s IP will be available on the Spurs’ social media and digital channels, including the official website. “Call Your Shot” is launching on Wednesday, October 20 and it will cover the 2021/22 season and remain available through the official Spurs Mobile App.
The game is developed exclusively for San Antonio Spurs fans and will offer fans the opportunity to face off in the F2P game and participate in tailored contests. Commenting on this partnership, SS&E chief revenue officer Frank Miceli had this to add:
“Finding groundbreaking and exciting ways to engage with our fans has long been a priority for our organization. Our partnership with bet365 is part of our vision to provide innovative and memorable experiences for Spurs fans everywhere.”

While sports betting is still not available in Texas, regardless of strong lobbying and push from interested franchises and companies such as Las Vegas Sands, the “Call Your Shot” app will allow locals to familiarize themselves with the concept of betting by using this free-to-play app instead.
Fans will have access to free credits which they can spend on calling the outcomes of games involving the Spurs during the regular season and then, hopefully, in the playoffs. As a result, the more successful users are, the more rewards they will have access to, including raffle prizes and others.
There will be courtside seats and a super box experience, as well as charter club tickets, autographed items, authentic jerseys, and much more, all created to boost fan engagement and experiences.
