Alabama Crimson Tide vs. LSU Tigers 2024 NCAAF Odds, Time, and Prediction
The Alabama Crimson Tide vs. LSU Tigers is one of the spiciest college football matchups not only in Week 11 but in the entire 2024 NCAAF season. The duel between two SEC rivals is on the program on Saturday, November 9, at Tiger Stadium a.k.a. Death Valley on the campus of Louisiana State University
Bama’s new coach Kalen DeBoer started his tenure with three straight wins, but in the last four game weeks, his team lost two times. It’s their defense that should be blamed for both of those losses.
This is something that should worry their fans as on the first Saturday of November, the Crimson Tide are locking horns with LSU Tigers, whose offensive output has increased significantly over the last couple of weeks. Plus, the game is played at the Louisiana State University campus, where over 100,000 fans are expected to attend – most of them will be rooting for the home team.

Alabama Crimson Tide Aren’t Great on the Road in 2024
The Alabama Crimson Tide are 6-2 overall in 2024, with a 5-0 record at home and a 1-2 away record. Their only win on the road happened against Wisconsin. They won that game 42:10 but then went on to lose their next two away games. First, Vanderbilt beat them 40:35, then they lost to Tennessee 24:17.
Their offense did okay in all of their games this season, which is no surprise given that their quarterback Jalen Milroe is seen as a future NFL star. With Kalen DeBoer to guide him, the QB is bound to do fine in months and years to come.
Further, the QB seems to love playing against the LSU Tigers. Last year, he went 15/23 for 219 pass yards and four touchdowns.
He’ll probably do alright against this time around as well, but the question is whether his good performance will be enough to get a win. The thing is that Bama’s defense hasn’t been great in 2024, especially not in big games.
On the bright side, they shut down Missouri in their most recent outing. But LSU is way, way better than Missouri.
LSU Tigers Ready to Up Their Game
Same as Alabama, LSU too is 6-2 overall in the 2024 season. Their recent form, however, needs to worry them. In their last three games, we saw them win once, lose once, and win after overtime.
In their first game of October, they struggled to beat Ole Miss at home and only did it in overtime. However, that’s actually a huge achievement given that the visitors were in great form ahead of that game.
Their second game in October saw them beat another tough opponent – Arkansas. They did it on the road, with the final score of 34:10.
Finally, in their most recent game, the Tigers lost 38-23 to in-form Texas A&M on the road. It was Texas’ seventh win in a row, so it’s not really embarrassing for LSU. After all, it has provided their players with valuable experience.
Alabama Crimson Tide vs. LSU Tigers Prediction
This is going to be an exciting affair, probably with plenty of points scored by both Alabama and LSU. The big question is which team will score more. Our prediction is LSU. After all, the Tigers are used to playing tough games, so they’ll know what to do on November’s first Saturday.
Pick: LSU Tigers
