ACR Poker, Ready for Venom Warmup and Dual Tourneys in October

ACR Poker, the 2001-founded iconic online poker site that serves parts of the United States, Canada, Latin America, and a few other countries, has announced a particularly interesting October for fans of the game.  

Namely, the platform that was originally known as Americas Cardroom until its July 2023 rebranding, will start the month with the $1 Million GTD Venom Warmup on Tuesday, October 1, preceding the upcoming dual Venom tourneys scheduled for October 13. 

“Perfect Way to Turn a Small Investment Into Something Big”

On October 1, poker fans will be given the opportunity to warm up via the warmup tourney featuring a $1 Million guaranteed prize pool. 

With a small buy-in of just $66, this will be one of ACR Poker’s “biggest value tourneys” offered “for such a low buy-in,” as described by ACR Pro and poker icon Chris Moneymaker.

Interested players can also opt for the satellite qualification alternative and enjoy even more affordable ways to enter the tourney which represents “the perfect way to turn a small investment into something big.”

The warm-up tournament will feature no less than 258 Day 1 flights that will run every day until October 27. 

Players will enjoy “almost unlimited options” to play in multiple Day 1’s and mix their chip stack for Day 2 which will take place on October 27 at 4:05 pm ET. 

The Final Table has been scheduled for October 28 at 2:05 pm ET.

“Throwing a One-Two Punch” 

“We’re throwing a one-two punch this October with not one, but two massive Venom PKO tournaments running simultaneously. It’s time to lace up your gloves and get ready for the fights of your life at the poker tables,” can be read on ACR Poker’s site. 

First in line is the $5 Million Guaranteed NLH PKO Venom, a tournament with a “history of eclipsing its guarantee,” joined in by the $1.5 Million Guaranteed PLO PKO Venom that will be making its debut next month. 

Both tournaments will feature five Day 1 options each. The NLH variant will host a four-day event, whereas the PLO variant will be a “swift three-day slugfest.”

Besides the Venom Warmup, players can also opt for the Venom Fever satellites that offer hundreds of $2,650 ticket seats to October’s $5 Million GTD NLH PKO and $1.5 Million GTD PLO PKO Venom tournaments that will kick off on October 13.

ACR Poker will also host Venom Specials during each Day 1, featuring more than $11 million in total guarantees and buy-ins between $16.50 and $1,050.

Players can compete for 644 guaranteed seats for the NLH PKO Venom and 71 seats for the PLO PKO Venom, via Beast Satellites, Venom Madness Satellites, Direct Satellites, and Mega Satellites.

Moneymaker took the opportunity to say players still have until September 30 to grab their share of more than $40 million in total guarantees and $60,000 in leaderboard prizes in ACR Poker’s OSS XL that followed the $5M GTD Supersized Poker Tourney in August.
