xQc Tells a Concerned Friend to Stop Bugging Him about “Gambling Addiction”
xQc has told a good friend of his to f--k off because of nagging him about his supposed gambling addiction

xQc, the popular Kick streamer, has had a heated conversation with a friend of his, JesseSMFI, a Twitch streamer, during a live broadcast. Hosted on Kick, xQc and JesseSMFI were talking about various topics, until at one point, the Twitch streamer brought up the subject of gambling addiction, and cutting right to the chase, asked xQc if he was addicted to gambling.
xQc Tells Friend to F— Worry About Himself
“I mean, would you call yourself addicted to gambling,” JesseSMFI preferred. xQc though did not take the question lightly, stating that he didn’t like the stigmatic overtone that “addicted” had. He argued that the term floated freely to the point it has been misused.
xQc said that he was aware of what it meant to be addicted, and he hinted at a lived experience with addiction that had been far more devastating than what people think his gambling is doing to him.
“I hate that word because of how misused it is. I am as addicted as I am addicted to other things. There’s not much of a difference. Right? Like, am I more addicted to… it’s like, ‘Gotcha!’ A lot of people use that as a ‘Gotcha!’ Like, I have addiction in my life currently that are a lot more damaging to me than this addiction. If that makes sense. So usually, it has a negative tone to it, where it’s automatically negative,” xQc explained in fits.
JesseSMFI did not let things out there, however, and he pursued his line of questioning. He asked xQc if he was playing just for “the fun of it” and was enjoying it “at the moment” or was rather motivated by chasing his losses and recouping his losses.
xQc, though, did not think that this was a kind or appropriate question to ask and immediately called on JesseSMFI’s attempt to prod and find out whether the streamer was addicted to his gambling.
“You change one component of the f—ing equation,” xQc said abruptly, adding that JesseSMFI would do best to “f—ing worry” about himself, and flourishing this one with a “b—ch.”
The conversation petered out quickly after this point. xQc has been questioned over his gambling habits extensively, and he has grown irascible when confronted with such questions over the years – somewhat understandably so.
Eventful Times for Gambling Streamers
He left Twitch after the platform said that certain operators would no longer be allowed to be advertised as they did not hold the necessary licenses in the North American market. xQc himself moved to Kick, a platform that has attracted some of the most prominent streamers and those who love to gamble.
Some criticism has come from XQc’s way that his gambling was an opportunity backed by sponsors and thus misled his fans.
Many doubt that xQc is even spending his own money – but rather playing on credit the casino offers him to keep viewers interested. These claims have not been borne out, but xQc has been confronted about his “addiction” on more than one occasion.
