Traffic Lab Secures Ownership of Its Business, Shares It with the Workers
As of the time of this writing, a staggering 1/3 of Traffic Lab’s entire workforce are also owners
Traffic Lab, an affiliate company seeking to empower iGaming companies by helping them connect with their players, announced that it has achieved one of its dreams by securing majority ownership of its business. The move secured strong backing by the Traffic Lab leadership, allowing it to open a new chapter in its story.
Traffic Lab Completes a Management Buyout
For context, Traffic Lab was entirely owned by the Lab Group, a subsidiary of CapitaLab. However, the latest move, which was announced on LinkedIn by the company’s chief executive officer, Peter Gunni, saw Traffic Lab secure majority ownership of its own business.
Gunni said that this has been a “long-term shared vision” of the company team and was thrilled to confirm that it has finally come true.
We’ve taken over the majority ownership of Traffic Lab and we’re sharing it. I’ve dreamed for a long time of building a company where ownership is shared with the people working in it, and now it has become a reality.
Peter Gunni, CEO, Traffic Lab
The management buyout was executed with strong support from the rest of the company leadership, Gunni elaborated. He named himself, chief financial officer David Casado Vasquez, chief technology officer Oisín Mac Giolla Chuda, and chief SEO officer Claus Christensen as the main architects of the buyout.
The financial aspect of the buyout was not disclosed.
A Third of the Workforce Are Now Owners
Looking forward, Gunni said that the buyout presents an opportunity to provide loyal Traffic Lab workers with a share of the ownership. He said that, as of the time of his writing, a staggering 1/3 of Traffic Lab’s entire workforce were also owners.
The CEO concluded that he hopes this will inspire the whole team to achieve beyond what everyone thought possible.
