The Hardened Gang Returns in NoLimit City’s San Quentin Manhunt

The Gang Is Making a Run for It

The previous chapter in the San Quentin series was called “Death Row.” As it turns out, the gang of hardened criminals at the California state prison did not intend to go down quietly and has now broken out after months of careful planning.

However, the police are not far behind. With the dogs having already found a scent, it will be up to players to make the most out of the escape before the gang is brought back to prison again.

Themed after a prison escape, San Quentin Manhunt features a variety of symbols representing the escapees, as well as the tools that made their breakout possible. As a result, players will collect images of broken handcuffs, improvised lockpicks, a map drawn on a roll of toilet paper, and, of course, the soap that even gang members fear to drop.

The game features an unorthodox 1-3-5-5-3-1 layout, with several blocked cells in all four corners. During the bonus game, players can randomly activate a Cake Buster that unlocks one of the blocked cells, allowing players to score wins more easily.

Multiple Features Tell the Story of a Daring Prison Escape

The game also boasts Scatter wins that award wins every time players land on seven or more identical symbols. Additionally, the game removes all winning symbols from the grid, replacing them with new ones and effectively allowing players to score multiple winning combinations per spin.

On the top and bottom of the grid, there are also Enhancer Cell positions that spin independently of the main area. These cannot hide Bonus symbols, but may sometimes trigger the Cake Buster feature to unlock one of the locked cells, or the xWays feature, which transforms into one of the prisoners and awards several new symbols of the same type.

Spins that do not award any wins may trigger the Cell Search feature, collecting the lowest-paying object, adding a multiplier for each collected symbol, and then awarding a wild symbol.

Bonus symbols, meanwhile, allow players to trigger one of the game’s two bonus games – Sewer Escape Spins and Manhunt Spins. Players can buy into the feature in markets where this is allowed, or use the NoLimit Booster to be guaranteed a Bonus symbol with every spin.
