Sports data company Stats Perform announced today it was named Exclusive Betting Streaming Rights and Betting Data Provider for the Serie A and Serie B club football competitions in Brazil. The multi-year deal for the sports tech leader in data and AI technology will commence at the start of the 2020 season.
Betting Streaming and Betting Rights In Partnership with ZSM
The partnership with the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) involves joint betting streaming and data rights with a boutique agency based of London and Singapore, Zeus Sports Marketing (ZSM), Stats Perform’s press release outlined.
“We are delighted to be chosen and trusted by CBF and the clubs to deliver high quality betting experiences. Brazil produces the largest number of professional footballers around the world, with many of the world’s most exciting prospects emerging from Brasileirão Série A before making the move across the Atlantic to Europe’s leading clubs. It is an exciting time to be involved and we look forward to working with the leagues as they kick off their season.”
Alex Rice, Chief Rights Officer, Stats Perform
Stats Perform offers a combination of in-stadium ultrafast data with low latency live streaming and high-quality football, to create premium in-play betting experiences that are preferred by providers of odds and licensed sports wagering operators, as well as their customers.
“ZSM is delighted to have orchestrated this landmark commercial arrangement between the CBF, the Clubs Commission and Stats Perform which ensures that Brazilian football returns to the betting and data arena. We look forward to serving Stats Perform, the CBF and all 40 Clubs from the top two divisions to bring this high-profile football content to services around the world.”
Josh Burack, Partner & Managing Director, Zeus Sports Marketing Asia Pacific
Besides the betting streaming and data provider rights in Brazil, Stats Perform has a betting content portfolio that features soccer from the Spanish La Liga, French Ligue 1 and Major League Soccer in the US, tennis from the Women Tennis Association (WTA) and numerous other sports and competitions, all of which are safely distributed to licensed sports books to deliver exciting betting experience, online, on mobile and in retail betting venues.
On a side note, Global Sports Rights Management (GSRM), the agency set up by Latin American sports rights executives, secured the international broadcasting rights for both Serie A and Serie B Brazilian club football competitions. The agency outlined its objective would be to increase the visibility and interest in Brazilian football globally through match distribution via all channels including Pay-per-View and Streaming.
Besides the direct sale of broadcasting rights to other media broadcasters, GSRM will introduce a streaming platform accessible worldwide, except for Brazil, available through monthly subscriptions.
