Spotlight Sports Group Names Renshaw as CEO

Spotlight Sports Group, a leading specialist in sports technology and media, has named a new chief executive following Alan Byrne’s leave from the position. The one who will replace him is Mark Renshaw, who has until now served as SSG’s chief operations officer.
Renshaw Promoted to CEO
Renshaw has years of experience with the sports company. He has worked with SSG for 14 years now, last serving as its chief operations officer. As announced by the sports media company. Renshaw will now become the new CEO with immediate effect.
The new appointment comes amid plans for further expansion into the US and UK sports markets. Meanwhile, Byrne will remain with the company. He will retain his director seat and will also assume a new advisory position.
Byrne spoke about the change in leadership, praising Renshaw for his promotion. The former CEO said that he feels delighted to see Renshaw as his successor and praised him for always being at the heart of the company.
I know Mark has all of the skills required to lead the excellent SSG team and will continue to drive the growth of the company in the UK, North America and beyond.

The New CEO Thanked His Predecessor for His Hard Work
Meanwhile, Renshaw, now chief executive officer of Spotlight Sports Group, shared his thoughts about leading the company. He noted that he spent the last few months working closely with Byrne and the rest of the team on boosting the company’s growth and finding new growth opportunities. He added that SSG’s team is now absolutely clear on where it wants to take the company.
Renshaw thanked Byrne for his incredible support during their time working together. The new CEO added that he is glad that his predecessor will continue working with the company, allowing it to leverage his experience in his capacity as an advisor.
Speaking about where the company is now and where it is headed, Renshaw noted that SSG currently has one of the best teams in the entire industry. The company is currently supporting many influential betting brands such as the United Kingdom’s Racing Post and North America’s Pickswise. Renshaw concluded that he is excited about the company’s global business-to-business division, which powers the company’s partners with great sports products.
