SeventySix Capital Joins AGA’s Efforts in Promoting Responsible Gaming
SeventySix Capital has joined the Have a Game Plan, Bet Responsibly campaign by the American Gaming Association (AGA), the company announced on Monday. This marks the first time when an investment firm joins the public service campaign by AGA, meaning that the sports tech firm based in Conshohocken, PA, has managed to write history.
Wayne Kimmel, the Managing Partner of SeventySix Capital stated that the company and AGA have the same beliefs when it comes to responsibility. That is why SeventySix is more than happy to help educate people on responsible gaming. He stated that both parties believe that making sure that players bet responsibility is the key to the industry’s longevity. He also said that SeventySix is delighted to be the first investment firm to join this effort.
SeventySix Will Promote Responsible Betting Via Social Media and Newsletters
The investment firm will help AGA spread the word on responsible gaming via newsletters and various social media channels. In addition, but both of these companies will share words on the partnership on the weekly podcast of SeventySix, called Leadership Series. The episode will air on September 1.
Casey Clark, Strategic Communications and Senior Vice President of AGA, stated that the cornerstone of the success of the sportsbook industry is responsibility. As the government’s leniency towards sports betting is increased and this activity is legalized throughout the US, educating consumers on responsible betting is crucial. That is why the AGA is proud to have SeventySix in its campaign and are extremely thankful for their commitment to keeping punters informed and safe.
The Have a Game Plan Campaign Was Launched in 2019
AGA launched the Have a Game Plan campaign back in 2019 with a simple goal – to educate sports fans on responsible wagering. The core principles of this initiative include sticking to a budget that was previously set, only playing with licensed and trusted sportsbooks, being familiar with the odds and keeping the process of betting social.
Ever since the creation of this initiative, numerous well-known brands have joined it, which is why the AGA is proud of the effort that has been made so far. Some of the most popular companies that are part of the Have a Game Plan campaign are the PGA Tour, NASCAR, NHL, Vegas Golden Knights, Sinclair Broadcast Group, Sightline Payments, FanDuel, DraftKings, Monumental Sports and Entertainment and most recently – the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
FanDuel and DraftKings are known as the largest sports betting operators in the US and these two companies are familiar with the importance of keeping the industry relevant and stable, especially in times when the US is becoming lenient towards betting on sports, which is why they have joined this initiative.
