PokerStars Hits 21 Live Tournament Stops Next Year

PokerStars has released its 2020 tournament schedule. The brand will be heading all over the world, awarding dozens of Platinum Passes along the way.

Over 20 Live PokerStars Tournaments in 2020

In 2019, PokerStars offered up plenty of exciting live tournament action – and, the brand aims to up the ante in the coming year as there are 21 events planned for 2020. We’ll be seeing PokerStars heading all over the world, hitting stops in South America, Europe and Asia.

There will be three tops on the European Poker Tour. First, PokerStars will be heading to Sochi from March 20 – March 29, where one Platinum Pass will be awarded. Then, from April 23 to May 2, we’ll see PokerStars take the EPT to Monte Carlo where another player will win a Platinum Pass. The final EPT stop for the year will be Barcelona, where players will compete in exciting poker events from August 12 to 30.

The Road to PSPC

PokerStars has also made it a mission to give away loads of Platinum Passes for the upcoming PokerStars Players Championship in Barcelona next year. So, we’ll be seeing the brand all over France, Spain and Brazil to help players win a one-in-a-lifetime chance to compete in one of the most prestigious events in the poker world.

Road to PSPC in France

  • Paris: 16 – 22 December
  • Le Havre: 15 – 19 January
  • St Amand: 11 – 16 February
  • La Grande Motte: 10 – 15 March
  • Cannes 10 – 14 June

Road to PSPC Stops in Spain

  • Barcelona: 13 -19 January
  • Valencia 4 – 8 March
  • Madrid Gran Via 31 March – 5 April
  • Madrid Torrelodones 1-5 July

Brazilian Series of Poker

Platinum passes will also be given away during the Brazilian Series of Poker. PokerStars will be heading to the beautiful country of Brazil three times next year, and will be giving away four platinum passes.

  • Brasilia: 30 Jan – 4 Feb
  • Sao Paulo: 19 – 24 March
  • Winter Millions in Sao Paulo: 15 – 22 July

Manila

PokerStars is also making quite the impact across Asia’s live tournament scene. Manila will see plenty of action in the coming year:

  • Red Dragon Manila: 4-11 January
  • Okada Manila Millions: 9-15 March
  • Manila Megastack 14: 22 – 31 May
  • Manila Super Series 14: 6-12 July
  • APPT Manila 2020: 31 July – 9 Aug
  • Manila Super Series 15: 22 – 28 September
  • Manila Megastack Challenge: 6 – 13 December

Of course, these aren’t likely to be the only PokerStars tournaments being held in 2020. There are going to be hundreds of online special events, and the brand is likely to announce many more live tournaments in the coming year.
