Louisiana: Two Men Arrested for Armed Robbery in Plain Dealing
The two men entered the Outpost Travel Center Casino on Friday morning with guns and demanded money from the casino's cashier and one patron
Two men were arrested over their alleged involvement in an armed robbery that has taken place at the Outpost Travel Center Casino in Louisiana. The incident dates to Friday when two armed individuals barged into the venue located at the 500 block of La. Highway 3. In brought daylight on the morning of the day of the incident, the two men entered the venue with long barrel guns.
The robbers asked one casino visitor and the casino cashier to give up their money. Once they collected an undisclosed amount of money, the attackers left the Outpost Travel Center Casino on foot, information released by the Bossier Sheriff’s Office (BSO) reveals. The police report did not mention whether anyone was hurt during the brazen armed robbery. It is unclear in which direction the attackers went after the robbery.
“Bossier Sheriff’s detectives arrested two Plain Dealing men for Armed Robbery after they robbed a business in the 500 block of La. Highway 3 early Friday morning. The two men entered the Outpost Travel Center Casino with what appeared to be long guns and demanded cash from the casino cashier and one casino patron,“

Police Investigate the Armed Robbery
The armed robbery was investigated by the Plain Dealing Police Department in collaboration with BOS. Once the crime was reported, units were immediately dispatched. As a result, BSO Patrol deputies, detectives, drone operators and K-9 deputies arrived at the Outpost Travel Center Casino.
Thanks to BSO K-9 units, law enforcement was able to “follow a trail of money and parts of a gun” to a nearby residence. The parts of the gun were identified as airsoft replica rifle. BSO K-9 units followed the trail of the robbers to the 300 block of Gloria Street in Plain Dealing. The aforementioned area is approximately 2,000 feet southwest of the Outpost Travel Center Casino. While there is a road nearby, it is likely that the fugitives used pathways through the woods. Yet the BOS did not confirm the tracking route of the two armed robbers.
Suspects Identified and Arrested
Once law enforcement identified the residence where the robbers were followed, they obtained a search warrant. Upon execution of the search warrant, BOS detectives detained a total of four males.
A search of the premises uncovered clothes that matched the apparel of the robbers as seen by the investigators in casino security video footage. Moreover, during the search, police found and seized a 12-gauge shotgun that is believed to have been used in the recent armed robbery.
In light of the findings and subsequent interviews, BOS detectives arrested two individuals for their alleged involvement in the armed robbery. The culprits were booked into the Bossier Maximum Facility on two charges of armed robbery each. Their bond is set at $750,000 per person.
