Kansas City Chiefs Want to Make History
The Kansas City Chiefs are one of eight teams that have won back-to-back Super Bowls. What’s interesting is that no one managed to win it three times in a row.
The Chiefs, however, can pull it off on February 9. They won the Lombardi Trophy in the previous two seasons and oddsmakers think they’ll do it again.
The No. 1 reason why they’re favored to beat the Eagles is that most of their key men from the last two Super Bowls are still on the roster (e.g., QB Patrick Mahomes, TE Travis Kelce), and they also have some very good new additions (e.g., RB Kareem Hunt, WR DeAndre Hopkins, etc.).

The reason why their Super Bowl odds aren’t even shorter than -133 is that the Chiefs haven’t been too impressive in the 2024-25 campaign. They did win the No. 1 seed in the AFC, finishing the regular season with a 15-2 record. However, one-third of those wins were by less than a field goal.
In the Divisional Round of the 2025 Playoffs, they defeated the Houston Texans 23:14. Then, in the AFC Championship, they defeated the Buffalo Bills 32:29 thanks to a good defensive performance in crucial moments.
Philadelphia Eagles Ready to Stage Upset
The Philadelphia Eagles finished the 2024 regular season with a 14-3 record. They earned the No. 2 seed in the NFC. In their first game of the postseason, they beat the Green Bay Packers 22:10.
Then, they beat the Los Angeles Rams 28:23. Finally, in the NFC Championship game, they destroyed the Washington Commanders 55:23.

In that game, we saw a masterclass in running the ball. The Eagles scored nine touchdowns that afternoon, with eight of those being rushing TDs.
QB Jalen Hurts scored three rushing TDs (and threw one passing TD – caught by A.J. Brown), the same as RB Saquon Barkley. Rookie RB Will Shipley scored one as well.
Kansas City Chiefs vs. Philadelphia Eagles Prediction
The Eagles are the best team in the NFL when it comes to running the ball, but we’re sure they will not score too many rushing touchdowns on February 9. The Chiefs have a very good defensive team that should be able to prevent the Eagles’ offense from going crazy.
Meanwhile, Pat Mahomes & Co. are bound to do great. KC’s QB is famous for shining in tense moments, so expect him to produce at least a couple of TDs, which should be enough for his team to win.
Pick: Kansas City Chiefs
