iSoftBet Brings Lars Kollind as Head of Business Development

iSoftBet has appointed Lars Kollind, a gaming and betting industry veteran with extensive business savvy, as Head of Business Development as the company pivots towards 2021 with expansion in mind.

Lars Kollind Takes Rein over Business Development

Leader in compliance and regulated markets, iSoftBet has tapped iGaming veteran Lars Kollind who steps in as the company’s new Head of Business Development. The move is part of a larger restructuring undertaken by iSoftBet in a bid to strengthen the executive team and prepare the company for expansion in 2021.

Kollind brings with him vast experience as Business Development Manager for Playson, Head of B2B at Global Gaming, and Global Sales Director for Aspire Global.

Kollind will bolster the company’s efforts in identifying further development opportunities as well as help iSoftBet better understand customer needs. As part of his remit, Kollind will be tasked with identifying new business opportunities and boost revenue.

Kollind will seek to further enhance the product offering and develop new solutions for customers as well as better meet the needs of the existing customer base. One of the particular focal points for Kollind in 2021 will be identifying emerging market growth opportunities.

To help streamline operations, Kollind will work under iSoftBet Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) Michael Probert.

Commenting on his appointment, Kollind said that he was delighted to strengthen iSoftBet’s experienced team and he was sure that 2021 would be a promising year for the team, exploring new markets and growth opportunities.

iSoft Taps Top Talent Preparing for Busy 2021

Recently, iSoftBet has brought a unique team of executives to strengthen its management team. The expansion has been quick and tapping into big industry names, including ex-Microsoft marketing and communications veteran Virginie Luce, who joined as Chief Marketing Officer.

More worthwhile names include former Betsson HR Business Partner Lead Anne Muscat Scerri who now heads the HR team within iSoftBet.

The company tapped another ex-Betsson team member, Andrew Bonnici, Head of Data Science & BI, brought in as Chief Product Officer earlier in April this year. The technical lineup was strengthened with the signage of Neal Garman as Chief Technology Officer in June.

iSoftBet CEO Nir Elbaz used the opportunity to comment on the company’s ability to grow and expand, arguing that talent was at the core of that success. He further added:

“With the expertise, we now have at our disposal, next year promises to be one of our best yet. I’m confident that Lars and the senior team we have assembled will drive us to great success as we continue to deliver innovative and compelling products and services, both serving our partners and entertaining consumers by delivering amazing gaming experiences.”

iSoftBet continues to strengthen its position and seek closer ties with businesses and consumers. For the Halloween holiday, the company rebranded itself, however briefly, as iSoftBat.
