Hard Rock’s new gaming & hospitality property in Bristol has turned out to be very successful, sparking optimism about the company’s future in Virginia. Conveniently located right next to the border with Tennessee, the $500 million venue has attracted thousands of people in its two weeks of operation.

The New Property Welcomed Over 100K Guests

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Bristol is Hard Rock’s permanent casino in the city. After operating a temporary venue for two years, the company was able to finally offer the full-fledged Hard Rock experience to its visitors. As it turns out, it resonated deeply with fans.

During the opening weekend alone, a staggering 58,000 people visited Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Bristol, with the hotel reporting 99% occupancy for a few days. Since the property welcomed its first guests on November 14, over 110,000 people have visited the casino hotel.

In addition to welcoming thousands of guests, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Bristol has already paid out millions of dollars in prizes to lucky players. In the opening weekend alone, fortunate guests scooped up prizes of more than $7.3 million. Since its opening, the casino has handed more than $12 million in jackpots.

Additionally, the complex’s Hard Rock Café had the most successful opening out of the hundreds of Hard Rock Café properties all over the world.

The Feedback Has Been Very Positive

In an interview with the Bristol Herald Courier, HR Bristol president Allie Evangelista said that the property’s overall performance has been much better than her team initially expected. She added that Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Bristol has received amazing feedback from impressed customers.

Evangelista added that she is glad that Hard Rock’s decision to not open the permanent property earlier has paid off.

We didn’t open the property early because we couldn’t open the full experience. Making the decision to delay the opening and have everything at once was the right decision, just based on guest feedback.

Allie Evangelista, HR Bristol president

Evangelista noted that many players said that the casino hotel was on par with those in Las Vegas. She attributed the huge payouts to the intense gambling activity that took place in the first few days of operation.

The Hard Rock Live concert, which featured Blake Shelton, was also well-received.
