GGPoker Talks about Road to WSOP Europe

GGPoker, the world’s biggest poker room, has unveiled more details about the Road to WSOP Europe. The qualifier event will help many elite poker players secure sports at the World Series of Poker Europe Main Event.

Road to WSOP Kicks in Today

As announced by GGPoker, Road to WSOP kicks in today, October 10. It will be comprised of a series of satellite tournaments that will provide pros with a shot at the WSOPE 2022 Main Event. The $10,000 main event will have a $4.85 million guarantee and will be hosted at King’s Resort in Rozvadov in the Czech Republic. The main event is scheduled to begin on November 11.

Meanwhile, poker enthusiasts can join one of the satellite tournaments. Players can buy a spot at one of the events by paying $240 or more. Alternatively, they can buy a spot at one of the step satellites where prices start from $24.

GGPoker also teased that there would be other higher buy-in events where players can compete for higher prizes. These events will have a starting price of around $1,000 and will all offer a $10,000 guarantee. In addition, winners will receive a one-way ticket to the WSOPE 2022 Main Event.

John Scanlon, GGPoker’s director of live events and sponsorships, spoke about the announcement. He said that his team is excited to provide poker players with a shot at the $4.85 million main event in November.
