England vs. Slovenia 2024 Euro Odds, Time, and Prediction
England vs. Slovenia is the Euro 2024 game in which the Three Lions are expected to do much better than in the first two rounds. The fans at RheinEnergieStadion in Cologne will demand a good performance from Southgate’s boys on June 25

England arrived in Germany as the No. 1 favorite but after two anemic performances, the Three Lions are now third in the list of favorites. Their fans are blaming their manager Gareth Southgate, who could lose his job if England fails to qualify for the knockout stage.
Yes, that still is a possibility If Slovenia wins on June 25 and Denmark beats Serbia, England players will have to pack their bags.

England Simply Has to Get a Big Win on June 25
If England loses to Slovenia, we could see the Three Lions fail to qualify for the Round of 16. If they drew on June 25, we could see them finish in the No. 2 spot, which too would be very bad news. It’s because the runner-up in Group C gets to play against the winner of Group A, which will almost certainly be Germany.
In addition to all these reasons, Gareth Southgate’s men need an easy win to get their mojo back. They were unimpressive in the game with Serbia which they won 1:0 thanks to an early goal. Then, in the second round, they got a 1:1 draw despite being the inferior side in the game with Denmark.
The good news for them is that on June 25, they’re squaring off against the weakest team in Group C. At least, that’s on paper. However, from what we’ve seen so far at the 2024 Euros, Slovenia is a force to be reckoned with.
Slovenia Can Be a Really Tricky Opponent for England
Chance creation has been one of the biggest problems for England so far in the Euro 2024 tournament. If it weren’t for a couple of brilliant individual efforts of their superstars, the Three Lions probably wouldn’t have four points right now. They failed to create many big chances against Serbia and Denmark, but will the same happen against Slovenia?
It might because Slovenia uses a 4-4-2 formation that makes it very hard for the opposition to get near their goal. In the first round of the tournament, Denmark scored its only goal against Slovenia from the penalty spot.
In the second round, Serbia made it 1:1 in the very final second of the game when one of their players scored a header after a corner.
England vs. Slovenia Prediction
As both teams are in need of points, it’s imperative for Southgate’s men to start the game well. If they score an early goal, Slovenia will have no other option but to open up, which would leave more room for England’s counterattacks. We predict precisely that will happen, which is why our pick is half/time/full time England/England.
Pick: HT/FT England/England
