DraftKings Launches Industry-First Retail Gift Card with InComm

Joining forces, DraftKings and InComm Payments launch a retail gift card. The industry-first gift card will expand DraftKings reach with both physical distributions in retail stores and brand presence. The new gift card will be available in popular convenience stores such as Speedway, 7-Eleven, Dollar General, and Sheetz.
DraftKings and InComm Ink Agreement to Launch Retail Gift Card
The daily fantasy and sports betting operator, DraftKings, announced that it inked an agreement with InComm Payments to launch the industry-first retail gift card. By launching the industry-first gift card in collaboration with the global leading payments technology company, DraftKings will establish a presence in stores such as 7-Eleven, Speedway, Dollar General, and Sheetz. As a result, customers are going to be able to gift the “DraftKings experience” to others by purchasing a card that costs $25 or $50.
By entering the retail network with InComm, DraftKings is expanding its reach with both physical distribution and brand presence. Furthermore, with this move, DraftKings’ brand will be visible in some of the most frequently visited retail chains across the U.S.

The latest agreement comes only a week after DraftKings teamed up with the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation to provide online sports betting in Connecticut. The agreement which the operator inked last week is still subject to legislative and regulatory approvals. However, with the agreement, DraftKings became the official daily fantasy sports partner of the Foxwoods Resort Casino, operated by the tribe.

According to Tim Richardson, Senior Vice President at InComm Payments, the popularity and fan base of DraftKings has grown significantly in the last few years.
Furthermore, he added that the new agreement presents a great opportunity for consumers and DraftKings. In conclusion, Richardson said that for the first time, DraftKings will benefit from a brand presence in tens of thousands of InComm Payments’ retail partner locations across the U.S.

He added that the company is proud to work with InComm Payments to deliver the industry-first gift cards. In conclusion, Kalish said that the company is thrilled to provide its customers with another way to fund their accounts and engage with DraftKings’ real money products through a “first-of-its-kind offering“.
