Dazn Bet Reportedly Clears License Barrier in Germany
The popular sports betting brand owned by the eponymous media and streaming company, Dazn (da zone), has supposedly cleared the necessary licenses to launch in Germany

As such, Dazn Bet would be joining a number of other established operators in the country, including Tipico and 888, that have been cleared to roll out their product offers in the country.
If true, the licensing would have been awarded by the national regulator, GGL, and it would essentially give the go-ahead for the arrival of the dedicated Daznbet.de domain in Germany. No further information is currently available about the pending release of the Dazn Bet brand in the country.
Attempts to connect to the website at preset time prompt a pop-up window that requests a password and username. This will be the third market in which Dazn Bet is setting shop and readying to launch after the company made its mark on both Spain and the United Kingdom earlier this year.
Dazn Bet Only Getting Started
The arrival of Dazn Bet into the betting space is not unexpected. The company has been gathering momentum globally. A few years back, Dazn tapped Shay Segev, a gambling veteran, as the group’s chief executive. His appointment in January 2022 sent immediate signals that the company must be looking past simply hunting after streaming subscriptions and increasing revenue from broadcasting rights
By and large, Dazn Bet has repeated the same model as FuboTV, a company that attempted to launch an integrated sportsbook in its dedicated streaming services but eventually folded the idea as it confirmed that it would not be able to drive sufficient shareholder value. Dazn Bet is confident that this won’t be an issue.
