Catena Media Names Jasleen Kals as VP Product amid Transformative Changes

The online marketing company that powers the betting and iGaming sectors, Catena Media, announced it strengthened its senior-level team with a new addition. The company confirmed Wednesday it hired the services of the proven product leader with extensive experience, Jasleen Kals. Joining the C-suite at Catena, she was appointed to the role of VP product.

The latest C-suite hire marks an important part of the company’s plan toward transitioning to a product-first operating model. With Kals on board, Catena anticipates an increase in its growth throughout the rest of the year. Moreover, the strategic expert’s guidance is expected to boost the company’s turnaround and result in revenue growth.

Before joining Catena, Kals was able to accumulate significant experience in a wide range of verticals. She is a proven customer-oriented product leader, recognized for her effective growth strategies.

Throughout her professional career, Kals held a number of senior-level roles. Before becoming a part of the senior-level team at Catena, she held the role of executive director of digital product and strategy for Fox Entertainment’s brand, TMZ.

The C-Suite Hire Comes amid Leadership Changes

Earlier this month, Catena reported weaker-than-expected performance amid management changes. In its first quarter financial report, the company posted a year-over-year decrease within several operating segments.

The Q1 2024 report came on the heels of changes to the C-suite at the company, including new board appointments, announced earlier this year. Those followed the exit of Michael Daly, the company’s CEO, dating back to February.
