Bragg Named Industry Veteran Sherman as Its New CEO
Bragg Gaming, a global gaming tech and content company, has acquired a seasoned industry heavyweight to head the company. Yaniv Sherman, a gaming veteran with 20 years of experience, will be joining as chief executive officer.
Bragg Picked Sherman for His Vast Experience
According to the announcement, Sherman will be stepping into office on June 1 this year. Notably, his appointment marks the conclusion of Bragg’s board of directors’ review of strategic alternatives.
From July 1 onwards, Sherman will be responsible for guiding the company and helping it maintain its momentum. In February, the Bragg posted its favorable financial results for 2021. Back then, it added that it expects 2022 to be an even stronger year. Sherman’s job will be to make this prediction a reality.
Sherman’s field of expertise is business and human resources. He has studied at the Ben Gurion University in Israel and is well prepared to face any challenges. In addition, Sherman has over two decades of experience as part of gaming companies’ leadership teams. His most notable tenure saw him as a part of the leadership team of 888 Holding, another top-tier gambling group. He served the company for almost 15 years, assuming various executive positions. Sherman eventually became the company’s senior vice president and head of US, which saw him responsible for the company’s operations in America.
Sherman Is Looking Forward to Growing Bragg
The new appointee spoke about his new job, sharing that he is happy to join Bragg’s “strong and deep” leadership team. He added that he is looking forward to working together with the company’s board and management, as well as with its business partners.
Sherman also praised the company for how quickly it is growing. As a part of Bragg, he hopes to continue this growth and help the brand reach more markets and customers. To that end, Sherman believes that the recent additions of Spin Games and Wild Streak Gaming to the company will make it easy to capitalize on the lucrative North American market.
Paul Godfrey, the chairman of Bragg’s board of directors, also commented on the new appointment. He welcomed Sherman to the company and said that his experience makes him a perfect fit for the position.

Godfrey lauded Sherman’s experience with iGaming and reasserted that the new CEO will be responsible for keeping the company’s momentum. The chairman also said that the acquisition of Sherman attests to how bullish Bragg is on driving long-term organic growth and increased shareholder value.
On a separate note, Bragg recently received supplier licenses to operate in Ontario and the Bahamas.
