Betway has no intention of letting up from the esports world with the company introducing its biggest to-date Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) event. The Battle of Betway is a signal to esports communities that the betting operator remains committed to the segment, having sponsored numerous teams and events around the world.
Players can expect a great esports event ahead of the 2021 Stockholm Major. The latest edition of the competition will reunite a number of established teams, including BIG, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Made in Brazil, G2, and FURIA, with esports fans having plenty of action to follow just days before the Major.
Scheduled for October 25, teams will compete in a round-robin format in a Bo1 format in a bid to make it to the semi-finals and the finals. Betway has contacted several CS:GO personalities who have confirmed that they would be happy to host the streams for the tournament and bring viewers even more value reporting on the Counter-Strike showdown.
An Epic Esports Experience for Fans ahead of Stockholm
Commenting on this event, Betway head of esports Adam Savinson confirmed that the Battle of Betway is the most ambitious esports event to date. The event reunites all Betway affiliated teams in what he describes as an epic tournament.
“Occurring just before the long-awaited Stockholm Major, this is every CS:GO fan’s last opportunity to see how their favorite teams stack up against each other before fighting it out for the top prize of the year,” Savinson added.
Betway has been actively supporting esports around the world. The shortlisted teams are actually affiliated with the organization, which has been sponsoring a number of esports outfits across the entire industry.
Betway has landed its support for numerous CS:GO events over the years, including the BLAST Premier. Meanwhile, Betway remains stoked about the upcoming The International 10, which will pit 18 teams against each other for the lion’s share of the $40 million prize purse. The event is covered in Betway’s betting platform, with numerous pre-game, in-play, and proposition bets now available.
