Betway Inks New Partnership with NBA’s Miami Heat
Super Group-owned online gambling operator Betway has entered a partnership with the Miami Heat franchise from the National Basketball League. This is far from the bookmaker’s first NBA deal but it is definitely a strong move for the expansion of its brand in the US sports betting market where it plays a burgeoning role.
Betway Inks Its Eighth NBA Deal
The agreement will see Betway as Miami Heat’s preferred free-to-play betting partner. As such, the betting operator will get additional exposure on Miami Heat’s FTX Arena venue. This will include a LED Betway-branded courtside as well as baseline apron signage. Betway’s brand as a whole will be popularized among basketball fans and followers of the Miami Heat franchise.
This deal is Betway’s eighth partnership with an NBA team. The operator has various deals with other franchises. They include the Brooklyn Nets, the Chicago Bulls, the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Dallas Mavericks, the Golden State Warriors, the Los Angeles Clippers, and the Philadelphia 76ers.
The Philadelphia 76ers deal was signed mere days ago and attests to Betway’s growing interest in the NBA. It is much similar to the one with the Miami Heat and includes signage throughout the team’s The Center Arena, courtside LEDs, basket stanchion LEDs, and team bench aprons that brandish Betway’s logo. On top of it, Betway will be popularized on TV during the broadcasts of Philadelphia 76ers season home games.
The Operator Continues Seeking Opportunities
NBA’s fanbase and community as a whole have been a major target for Betway’s exciting betting offerings. Its chief executive officer, Anthony Werkman, spoke about the new multi-year deal. He revealed that the entire Betway team is thrilled to partner with Miami Heat and grow the company’s brand recognition throughout the United States.
Werkman added that he considers Miami to be a fantastic city where the sport is a huge passion. According to the CEO, Betway is looking forward to “sharing the thrill with fans of the three-time NBA championship-winning side.”
Glen Oskin, Miami Heat’s vice president of corporate partnership is glad to have a brand as esteemed as Betway as the team’s preferred free-to-play betting partner.
“With a proven track record as a global brand, Betway made a huge splash as it entered the US market,” Oskin noted, “Betway is an industry leader, and we couldn’t be happier to have it as a partner.”
Betway recently expanded in the United States after launching its operations in the state of Iowa. Whilst targeting the North American market, Betway is simultaneously expanding in other regions as well. The operator recently acquired a license to operate in Poland.
