BetVictor Teams up with BILD to Launch Sports Betting Platform

The betting provider BetVictor joined forces with the highest-selling newspaper in Germany, BILD. The result of the collaboration will be a new online sports betting platform, BildBet which is expected to launch in December this year.

The betting provider BetVictor and BILD teamed up to create a new platform for sports betting. The result of the cooperation will be the launch of BildBet which will be a new online sports betting platform for the German regulated market. The news about the new platform came after the publishing company of BILD, Axel Springer SE released a corporate statement about the new “strategic brand cooperation”.

Under the partnership, BetVictor will be obtaining permission to offer online sports betting from BILD. The expected launch of BildBet is set for December which is in line with the new gambling regulations in Germany. Being the leading Germany tabloid, BILD is already known for its “unique sports reporting and enthusiasm for sports“. BildBet will be the result of the collaboration between the two entities and the new brand will offer an attractive but also user-friendly betting service.

BetVictor Approved for Online License in Germany

Earlier this month, BetVictor was one of the fifteen operators approved for an online gambling license by the Regional Council of Darmstadt. This enabled BetVictor to offer legally betting service in line with the new state treaty on gambling in Germany.

According to the new regulations, all operators including BetVictor will need to implement methods for protection of the younger population and self-exclusion methods that protect the gamblers. Furthermore, those protection methods will need to receive the approval of the Regional Council of Darmstadt.

BetVictor is a privately owned company that was founded in 1946. The operator is licensed in Germany, the UK, Ireland, Malta, Gibraltar, and the Isle of Man. The company’s headquarters are in Gibraltar and but BetVictor also has tech hubs in London and Budapest. Currently, there are more than 550 people employed by the company worldwide.
