Bettors Continue to Back Tyson Ahead of His Clash with Paul
In the meantime, a game developer released a new title celebrating Tyson’s boxing achievements
The historic clash between boxing legend Mike Tyson and the emerging star Jake Paul is just around the corner. The fight is set to be streamed on Netflix, allowing fans to enjoy every second of the action.
The match has also become the subject of multiple controversies, although this hasn’t stopped bettors from going all-in.
The Two Boxers Will Clash Tomorrow
The clash between Tyson and Paul is unorthodox at best because of the two fighters’ significant age difference. Tyson, in particular, hasn’t been in the ring competing officially since 2005 but still has a lot more experience than Paul who started competing in 2018.
The clash has turned out to be the perfect recipe for debates. While Tyson’s fervent fans are convinced that he will steamroll the newcomer, others believe that he doesn’t stand a chance because of the age difference.
What do bettors say, though? As it turns out, Tyson is getting the majority of the bets despite the odds being against him. Sportsbook officials reported that bettors are expecting Tyson to win via KO, TKO or disqualification and believe that the older athlete’s great shape will allow him to keep up with his much younger opponent.
On DraftKings, 64% of the money has been wagered on Paul at -275. In the meantime, Tyson has attracted 66% of the total bets at +210, with the sportsbook setting the Over/Under for total rounds at 5.5, Reuters reported.
On BetMGM, Tyson’s popularity shifted his odds from +275 to +188. He is being backed by 59% of the bets and 76% of the money. Paul’s odds, on the other hand, have shifted from -275 to -190.
Fans Are Rooting for Tyson, the Book Is Rooting for Paul
BetVictor experts noted that Tyson still has the theoretical capacity to end the match with a single punch and suggested that Paul might benefit from playing defensively and waiting for his older opponent to wear down. Despite that, odds specialists are inclined to believe that Paul has a clear advantage.
This conviction, however, might deal a significant upset to sportsbooks, should Tyson emerge as the winner. Senior trader Alex Rella told Reuters that this might very well be the most bet-on boxing match in BetMGM history.
Bettors want to see Paul get knocked out and love Tyson as an underdog. The book will be rooting for Paul to win.

The fight is set to take place tomorrow and will last a total of eight rounds. Unlike the usual 3 minutes, rounds will last only 2. Another notable difference is that the two fighters will be wearing 14-ounce gloves which will reduce the punches’ impact.
Because of all the irregularities, some have begun to doubt the authenticity of the match.
Jogo Global Developed a Tyson-Themed Game
In other news, Jogo Global, a developer of innovative iGaming content and solutions, announced the launch of Mike Tyson’s Crash. This new Mike Tyson-themed game comes just in time for the legendary athlete’s clash with Paul. Developed in partnership with Radar Zero, the game celebrates the great achievements of Tyson’s boxing career. In addition to that, the game, just like Tyson himself, it is set to provide fans with unforgettable experiences.
Tyson himself commented on the launch, calling Mike Tyson’s Crash an intense title that will make fans feel the intensity of professional boxing. He praised Jogo Global and Radar Zero for capturing the spirit of his career and said that he is excited to share the experience with fans.
