BetHog Secures $10M to Expand AI Live Casino Technology

BetHog has obtained $10 million in fresh funding as part of a Series A round, marking a significant step in its push to reshape the live online casino sector through artificial intelligence. 

BetHog Boosts Global Expansion with AI Dealer Platform

The investment will primarily support the rollout of Sentient Studios, a newly introduced platform designed to provide operators with AI-driven live dealer solutions. The round was led by Will Ventures and RockawayX, alongside contributions from PCV, 6MV, Bullpen Capital, and Advancit Capital. With this latest raise, the company’s total funding now stands at $16 million. The capital injection is expected to accelerate the development of BetHog’s proprietary technology and expand its reach among international gaming operators. 

Sentient Studios is positioned as an alternative to conventional live dealer setups, which typically depend on third-party studios and human hosts. By contrast, BetHog’s model allows casinos to integrate virtual dealers powered by AI, offering greater operational control and flexibility. Operators can scale the number of tables on demand, tailor content for different markets, and adjust gameplay features in real time without the constraints of staffing or studio availability. 

Company leadership indicated that early testing of its AI dealer technology delivered strong results. Over a six-month trial period, the automated dealer reportedly attracted significantly higher engagement compared to traditional live dealer formats, while also improving player retention and overall satisfaction levels. The firm believes these advantages could make AI dealers a compelling option for operators seeking efficiency and customization. 

AI Dealer “Sunny” Drives BetHog’s Next Growth Phase

The platform also introduces new branding opportunities. Casinos can design unique dealer identities, create customized environments, and deliver exclusive experiences fully integrated within their own ecosystems. This approach reduces reliance on shared supplier networks and allows for more distinct product offerings. 

BetHog’s first AI-powered dealer, named Sunny, debuted in late 2025 as a blackjack host and is now accessible in 12 languages. The game has quickly become one of the platform’s most popular features, demonstrating the potential of AI in live casino environments. The company plans to broaden its portfolio later this year by adding baccarat and roulette to its AI lineup. 

Another key aspect of Sentient Studios is its commercial structure. The service operates on a revenue-sharing basis, eliminating upfront costs and long-term contractual commitments. This model is intended to lower entry barriers, enabling operators to experiment with AI-driven experiences without significant financial risk.
