Betcris Became Sponsor of Nine Soccer Clubs in Honduras

Online sports betting and gaming operator Betcris continued its expansion in the Latin American region by signing sponsorship deals with nine soccer teams in Honduras.

Massive Presence in Latin American Soccer

Costa Rica-based Betcris, which already has a massive presence across Latin American gaming jurisdictions, reiterated its commitment to support sports in Honduras by becoming a sponsor of nine soccer clubs of the league it already holds title sponsorship rights.

Following this strategic move, Betcris is now a sponsor of Motagua, Marathon, Vida, Real España, Real Sociedad, Platense, Victoria, UPNFM and Honduras Progreso of the Betcris League of Honduras. The sports betting and gaming operator acquired the naming rights of the top-flight soccer league of the Latin American country in July 2021 when it became the official sponsor of the Honduras football championship.

The new sponsorship agreements with the nine teams from the Betcris League of Honduras are set to further expand the operator’s presence as a sports betting partner of choice in the region by adding to its portfolio of sponsorship deals.

Already an official sponsor of the NFL, MLB, Liga Pro Ecuador, Mexican Football Federation and Ecuador Football Federation, Betcris signed two new agreements since the start of 2022: with Peru’s FBC Melgar and Mexico’s Club de Futbol Pachuca.

Earlier in the year, the operator became the official sponsor for the next two seasons of Peru’s FBC Melgar, the winner of the country’s 2021 national soccer championship. Shortly after that, Betcris entered into an agreement with Mexico’s Club de Futbol Pachuca to become the soccer club’s official betting site.

Strengthening Online Casino Product Offering

Besides expanding its footprint in the sports betting vertical, Betcris entered into collaboration with the developer of online games Vibra Gaming aimed at strengthening the positions of both companies on markets in Latin America and affirming their presence in the online casino gaming space.

The arrangement with Argentina-based Vibra Gaming ensured Vibra’s entire collection of slot and video-bingo game titles feature via Betcris’ gaming platform to further strengthen the operator’s product offering for online players in Latin America and help popularize the developer’s gaming content.
