Vegas People Get Final Chance to See Panic! at the Disco
Brendon Urie will join forces with former drummer Spencer Smith and Dallon Weekes for one final performance
Las Vegas is known to attract prominent celebrities for spectacular shows. It is also where miracles happen and disbanded bands come together once again.
The Last Chance to See the Group
Panic! at the Disco, a beloved pop rock band, is set to come together for another performance in Las Vegas despite its disbandment in 2023. This means that Sin City locals and tourists will be able to relive some memories and see the popular band for what very well may be the last time.
For context, Panic! at the Disco is set to participate in the upcoming edition of When We Were Young, an annual music festival in Las Vegas. Dedicated to various genres of rock, the festival is known for bringing many beloved groups together and providing visitors with unforgettable experiences.
The first edition was held in 2017. Since 2022, When We Were Young has become an annual event, with the latest edition taking place just a few days ago and featuring the likes of Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance, among many others.
With the 2024 edition now wrapped up, the festival announced its lineup for the next year in order to keep fans hyped. And, as it turns out, Panic! at the Disco is a part of the 2025 roster.
Panic! at the Disco Will Disband after the Event
Panic! at the Disco is a band that is native to Las Vegas, making this upcoming reunion even more exciting. Originally formed in 2004 by local childhood friends, the band went on to become a musical phenomenon.
As the years went by, however, Panic! at the Disco underwent significant lineup changes. In 2015, following multiple revisions, it became a solo project of frontman Brendon Urie. Then, in 2023, following the conclusion of the Viva Las Vengeance tour, he announced the end of Panic! at the Disco.
For the 2025 edition of When We Were Young, Urie will join forces with former drummer Spencer Smith who was a part of the original lineup. Dallon Weekes, another former member (bass), is also set to perform, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out album.
Ryan Ross, the band’s ex-lead guitarist, will not join the reunion. Bassist Brent Wilson, meanwhile, cannot join the reunion as he is serving a sentence for drug possession.
According to When We Were Young, Panic! at the Disco does not plan to continue with additional performances after this temporary reunion.
The 2025 edition of the event, for context, is set to take place on October 18, 2025. In addition to Panic! at the Disco, the lineup also features Blink-182, among dozens of other bands.
While Panic! hold Las Vegas dear, Billie Joe Armstrong, the lead singer of Green Day, lambasted Las Vegas during a performance in San Francisco.
