Tipico Unveils ID Verification Partnership with SONIO
SONIO will significantly simplify the ID verification process for Tipico users

German sports betting and casino gaming operator Tipico has formed a new partnership with SONIO, an expert in identity orchestration. Under the agreement, the latter company will provide the operator with reliable customer verification technology.
The verification solutions offered by SONIO will help the sportsbook simplify the ID verification process when onboarding new customers. At the same time, the verification will help the German operator remain compliant with the regulations in the markets where it operates.
Under the deal, Tipico will secure access to passport identification and PEP checks, among other SONIO-powered solutions. All checks are compiled into a single solution, optimizing the registration process for Tipico customers.
SONIO is a trusted provider of KYC solutions, saving precious time to operators frontend and backend developers. Its Identity Orchestration Platform takes only an hour to set up, providing companies with unparalleled ease of integration.
SONIO already supplies solutions to a number of high-profile companies in the gambling sector, including the Gauselmann Group, BetShop and Aspire Global, among others.
SONIO Is Looking Forward to Supporting Tipico
SONIO’s chief business officer, Dieter Kindl, commented on the agreement, expressing his team’s delight about joining forces with Tipico. Kindl praised the betting company as a leader in Germany’s gambling market and added that the deal is in line with SONIO’s ambition to expand globally.
Speaking of his company’s solutions, Kindl said that his team has put in a lot of effort in the development of solutions that offer optimal experiences to its partners’ users. The positive feedback from SONIO’s clients attests to the efficacy of the provider’s solutions, Kindl pointed out.
Tipico Group’s chief executive officer, Joachim Baca, also commented on the agreement. In an official statement, he praised SONIO for improving the ID verification process for Tipico consumers. According to Baca, this integration is in line with his company’s efforts to improve the customer experience.

In other news, Tipico recently launched a Bet Against Your Rival campaign that would allow NFL fans from several states to place wagers against each other, capitalizing on the rivalry between certain fan groups.
