Stats Perform Secures Video Betting Rights for SPFL and SWPL

The partnership brings “another heavyweight set of well-timed, high-octane football betting rights” into the company’s package

Stats Perform, a leading sports technology company, has secured exclusive rights to distribute video content of the Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL) and the Scottish Women’s Premier League (SWPL) internationally.

Stats Perform Secures a Heavyweight Set of Rights

As the new partner of the SPFL and the SWPL, Stats Perform will replace IMG Arena and will provide video content for betting purposes to sportsbooks outside the United Kingdom. This partnership will unlock significant value for the sports tech specialist’s partners, allowing them to greatly improve their products.

Clients of Stats Perform’s Bet LiveStreams service will be able to secure immediate access to games from the two top-flight soccer leagues. In addition to that, partners will also be able to air select fixtures from the second and third tiers of men’s soccer, as well as content from the League Cup, SPFL Trust Trophy and the SWPL Cup.

The deal will leverage Stats Perform’s Opta data and live-streaming technology to further power the soccer streams with AI-powered highlights and cutting-edge overlays.

This isn’t the first time Stats Perform has partnered with the SPFL. A year ago, the sports tech company further involved itself in the British soccer scene by agreeing to extend its agreement with Football DataCo and continue serving as the official statistics partner of the EPL, EFL and SPFL.

Fans Love the SPFL Content and Rivalries

Neil Doncaster, SPFL’s chief executive officer, was pleased about the partnership. He emphasized that the Stat Performs team and technologies are cutting-edge and trusted by multiple sports federations, as well as billions of fans.

Doncaster added that better streaming for licensed sportsbooks also benefits the fans, who are able to “tap into a wealth of innovation.”

Stats Perform’s chief betting officer, Andrew Ashden, added that the partnership brings “another heavyweight set of well-timed, high-octane football betting rights” into his company’s package. He added that fans relish in the SPFL teams and their historic rivalries and that the Scottish leagues have proven to resonate with fans all over the world.

Ashden concluded: “The SPFL and SWPL games sit perfectly alongside our top caliber competitions from England, Spain, Italy and many more, making our AI-enriched service critical to any licensed sportsbook globally that has football fans as customers.”
