PokerStars Bounty Builder Turbo Series to Start Sunday, May 23
PokerStars announced that on Sunday, May 23, it launches Bounty Builder Turbo Series. The series is going to feature more than 184 tournaments with $25 million guaranteed. With more than 12 tournaments daily, the next two weeks are going to be action-packed for poker fans.
Bounty Builder Turbo Series Starts This Sunday
PokerStars announced Tuesday that it launches a new fast poker game series on Sunday, May 23. Starting on Sunday, the Bounty Builder Turbo Series will feature more than 184 tournaments and $25 million guaranteed over two weeks. The innovative series aim at fitting the needs of players from all skill levels. From low-stake players to more experienced poker fans that want to test themselves in the biggest tournaments online.
Over the next two weeks, PokerStars will feature 12 tournaments every day, with even more on Sundays. Games that will be played are Hold’em, Omaha, 8-Game, and Horse. The buy-ins are starting from as little as $5.50 up to $5,200. Furthermore, poker fans will be able to enjoy special editions of the Sunday Storm, Sunday Million, and Sunday High Roller.
All of the events a part of the Bounty Builder Turbo Series are Progressive Knockouts (PKO), which are played as Turbos. Furthermore, there will be 45 “Hyper-Turbos“. Last but not least, the low main event is going to feature $1 million guaranteed. On the other hand, the high main event will feature $2 million guaranteed.
The Bounty Builder Format
PokerStars’ Bounty Builder format allows players to win money, without the need to spend hours playing, or trying to reach “the bubble“. Instead, each player has a bounty on them. When a player knocks out another player, they win the bounty for that player.
In that line of thoughts, one player may win their buy-in with a good hand or even double their prize money following a KO streak. Although there are no guarantees, Bounty Builder events make the games unique. Furthermore, the “Turbo element” boosts the speed for each game.
Plenty of Events Are Available For Low-Stake or High-Stake Players
Bounty Builder Turbo Series offers different versions to make it easier for players to match their type of play. The low-stake $5.50 buy-in level features a total of six events, which gives the players a chance of winning a combined prize pool of more than $200,000. Furthermore, participants can also win from knocking out other players.
Additionally, players that may prefer higher level buy-ins can join 18 events at $11 buy-in. Furthermore, there will be 37 more events at the higher $22 buy-in. Looking at the 12 opening events alone, players have the chance to win more than $3.5 million in prize money.
