Playtech Brings More IGT Slot Titles to the USA
Gaming leader Playtech is growing its online casino portfolio through the addition of leading IGT slot games in the US market, as part of the company’s continuous efforts to bolster its global expansion.
A Mutually-Beneficial Agreement
Playtech has reinforced its US presence by adding online slot games produced by industry-leading content developer IGT which will deploy its fleet of solutions to power up the iGaming experience for Playtech consumers in the United States and beyond.
The new offering arriving on the American market includes a bouquet of game features that are part of IGT’s patent pipeline, both existing and future. IGT already has a crucial role to play in the US iGaming ecosystem and the partnership is an important step forward for Playtech’s global expansion, after its launch in New Jersey with bet365, and with BetMGM in September.
Nick Khin, Chief Operating Officer at IGT, said in a statement that the company was glad to be able and partner with Playtech and provide it with greater “access to the largest game feature patent portfolio in the US.”
“Working in partnership with Playtech will help propel our collective innovation and growth, and further validates our significant IP portfolio,” he concluded.
IGT recently strengthened its presence in Africa, by helping South Africa’s Carousel Casino with a new management system, connecting more or less 400 casino machines.
Listed on the New York Stock Exchange, the global gaming entertainment leader is a strong business performance booster for any of its partners.
Playtech Finishes the Year on a Positive Tone
At the beginning of the month, Playtech sealed a brand new partnership with Norway gaming operator Norsk Tipping. The company’s involvement ensures its sustainability in the iGaming industry, as the covid-19 pandemic hit the company, especially in 2020 H1, with a 23% year-on-year revenue drop.
For Shimon Akad, Chief Operating Officer at Playtech, this agreement with IGT is an important step in the growing presence in the USA, as the company keeps on a successful path.
“We look forward to offering the US market more of our market-leading software and technology in what is a rapidly growing US market,” Akad said.
Recently, the gaming software development company has teamed up with global gaming and betting firm SKS365. Playtech is now providing SKS365 with gaming products at the SKS-owned Planetwin365 online casino. Playtech has effectively boosted the product offering for SKS consumers with titles such as Sporting Legends Suite or Justice League.
