Mohegan Appoints Scott Schuman as VP of Corporate Finance
Mohegan has named Scott Schuman as the new vice president of corporate finance, relying on his rich experience from IMAX Corporation to lead planning and strategy
On Monday, April 28, 2026, Mohegan, the premier entertainment and hospitality company under the ownership of the Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut, announced the appointment of Scott Schuman as its new vice president of corporate finance.

Schuman shared the announcement on his LinkedIn, expressing excitement for joining the company: “I’m excited to share that I recently joined Mohegan as the Vice President of Corporate Finance! I’m looking forward to this opportunity with an expanded role in a new industry.”
Mohegan’s new VP joins the gaming company after leaving IMAX Corporation. This Canadian-American entertainment technology company creates high-immersion cinema experiences, where he served as vice president and head of financial planning and analysis.

In his new role, Schuman will lead a series of important corporate finance functions. The list includes financial planning and analysis, treasury, capital markets, investor relations, and strategic planning.
“Scott steps into this role at a pivotal time for Mohegan,” the company’s chief financial officer, Ari Glazer, commented on the move.
“He will immediately elevate the way we support stakeholders, sharpen strategic analysis, and ensure clear communication of our financial performance and outlook. His experience driving financial rigor in complex, high-growth environments makes him an exceptional addition to our leadership team,” Glazer went on to say.
Before IMAX, where he spent eight years and five months, Schuman held a series of senior finance positions at NBCUniversal and Samsung Electronics America.
At NBCUniversal, between October 2014 and November 2017, he was responsible for directing financial assessments for big projects and securing essential savings in vendor contracts.
At Samsung, where he spent a little over four years, he led financial forecasting for products featuring $12 billion in annual sales and also directed the company’s e-commerce financial strategy.
Before Samsung, he was also a senior financial analyst for the MBA leadership development program for Johnson & Johnson (August 2008-August 2010), Unilever’s financial strategy summer associate for four months in 2007, and Ernst & Young’s senior 2 accountant for four years, between May 2002 and July 206.
Schuman also has an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, an MS in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame – Mendoza College of Business, and a BS in Finance and Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University.
