The CEO of PointsBet in the US, Johnny Aitken, has added that the goal of the company has always been to find and hire the best talents so that it can have the best results on the market. To be realistic, this has proven to be a good strategy Statistics show that, while many gaming companies had a major downfall in 2020, that was not the case for PointsBet. It had its best results in the third quarter of that year after seeing a 243% increase in revenue. Aitken stated that Cipriano is a very good addition to the quality team of leaders and that she is the perfect choice because she knows how to connect with the fans, as well as the sports environment.
Chantal Cipriano Comes Well-Equipped
Cipriano is a very successful lawyer who has also worked as a professor at the University of New Hampshire. Before joining PointsBet, she worked at Mazooma, where she helped the company with all legal matters concerning banking in the US. Her official job position in that company was Senior Director of Legal & Compliance, giving her tons of experience to support her in her new role.
Additionally, Cipriano is a well-respected author and she is also a contributor to the Gambling and Licensing Practice Guide for Canada, LexisNexis’ Gaming Law and Practice Book, and Chambers and Partners’ Gaming.
PointsBet is a well-respected online gaming operator and a rapidly-growing brand in the US that currently seeks to expand its influence on the Canadian market.
