A player in Pennsylvania will have a lot to be happy about when they check their Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket and see that they have won $870,000 before taxes. The win occurred off a ticket in Allegheny County, the Pennsylvania Lottery confirmed, pinning the date of the win on Sunday.
The numbers that won were 1, 20, 25, 38, and 40. The person who won also bought their ticket at the Uni-Mart on Fern Hollow Road in Moon Township, and the store is also set to scoop a $5,000 premium. With information about the winner lacking, the lottery was also happy to share that on the same day, 13,000 other Cash 5 with Quick Cash tickets have also won.
With so many winners going around after every draw, the lottery remarked, anyone who plays should make a habit of checking their tickets lest they have scooped the grand prize.
However, this is not the only time that a lottery ticket has recently won in Pennsylvania, with a Match 6 Lotto ticket scooping $1.2 million recently, and a scratch-off fetching $3 million in Richland Township.
The lottery did not provide any further details about the $870,000, with the person who won, whoever they may be, yet to step forward and claim the prize.
